Unfortunately, we must once again cancel our largest annual fund-raising event, fall festival: Taps & Talons. After much negotiation with the Smithtown Department of Waterways and the Conservation Board, as well as the town board, once again, our request for taps n talons has been denied to hold this event at Sweetbriar. I know you have many questions, to which we have no answers. Instead, please refer your questions to your town elected and appointed officials. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for your disappointment. We look forward to seeing all our supporters at other Sweetbriar Nature Center events. Thank you for your continued support.
