Birds of Prey - 45-55 minutes

Have the live raptors visit your location. Experience meeting owls, falcons and hawks and learn about the adaptations that help these awesome birds survive. Learn how humans are part of the picture, and how we can help.

Threatened Species - 45-55 minutes

Live animals are brought to your location, each with its own special story. Topics discussed include endangered species, disappearing habitats, the exotic animal trade, conservation, and ways individuals can help. Visiting animals may include a snake, a turtle, a chinchilla and a raptor.  

Animal Interviews for Adults -45-55 minutes

(offered to senior centers & assisted living centers at a discount)

This program is an introduction to some of the animals we care for at the center. The presentation will focus on the characteristics of each animal and the story of why they came to our center. This program is great for animal therapy and many of the animals can be interacted with and touched.

Caring for Wildlife – 45-55 minutes

Sweetbriar Nature Center is a wildlife rehabilitation facility. We take care of injured, sick, and orphaned animals. In this presentation participants will meet some of our resident non-releasable animals and find out their stories. We will also help them to learn what to do if they find an animal that might need help. So bring us in to share an owl, an opossum, a falcon, and more.

Fee - $350 for 1st assembly, $300 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd, $200 for 4th
