Sweetbriar’s experienced educators help open up the wonders of the natural world for children, through hands-on activities, live animals, crafts, and much more. Program is from 9:00am-3:00pm each day.
Ages: 6-11
Days and Themes:
Monday, December 23rd- Wild Adventures
Learn about animal adaptations through immersive learning and exploration around the grounds and trails of Sweetbriar.
Thursday, December 26th- Colors of the Wild
Animals come in all the colors of the rainbow. Learn about the importance of camouflage, crypsis, and warning colors for animals in the wild.
Friday, December 27th- Wildly Exciting Environments
Discover the exciting world are the different environments and habitats that animals all over the world live.
Monday, December 30th- Exploration Wild
Spend the day solving clues, puzzles, and mysteries about the animals of the forest.
Tuesday, December 31st- Wild Rainforest Rave
Bring in the new year with a rainforest themed countdown. Children will meet some animals of the rainforest while playing games and trivia relating to all the animals they meet.
$85/Day or $350/Week for members
$95/Day or $400/Week for Non-members

Cancellation Policy
Sweetbriar Nature Center reserves the right to cancel a Discovery Day/Week session due to insufficient enrollment. If Sweetbriar cancels a session, all fees will be fully refunded.
If you remove your child from a Discovery day/week session before it begins, membership fees are non-refundable and the refunds are as follows:
If you cancel 21+ days prior to program beginning (before December 2nd, 2024) 50% of session fee will be refunded
If you cancel 20-14 days prior to program beginning (December 3rd-9th, 2024) 25% of session fee will be refunded
If you cancel 13-0 days prior to program beginning (After December 10th, 2024) 0% of session fee will be refunded
