Join us for our first DIY craft social class! A short animal presentation will be given at the beginning of the class and refreshments will be available. Feel free to bring in any snacks to share if you’d like. We also ask if possible for you to bring a reusable cup to reduce waste.

For this class will be upcycling animal feed and bird seed bags into tote bags. No sewing experience needed!

Feed bags are designed to be tough and last a long time. It’s best that these bags are kept out of landfills and reused as much as possible. The bags can be used for groceries, travel bags or given as gifts.

We have feed bags available here but you are more then welcome to bring your own and extras for friends.

If you’re bringing your own bags.

-Please remove the top and bottom part of the bag

-Wash thoroughly in your washing machine (cold water recommended)

Cost is $20 (all money goes back into the nature center and caring for our animals)
