Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you for registering your child/children for the Holiday Discovery Days at Sweetbriar Nature Center. We are looking forward to having another exciting week of educational programming. Make sure that the Emergency contact form has been returned to us before the first day of the program.

On the first day you should park in the parking lot, then enter through the front door and check in at the front desk. An instructor or assistant will greet you and your child and get you child started on his/her day. We do intend to spend some time in the outdoors unless the weather is unbearable. Please equip your child with warm clothing, a lunch, and a snack. A change of socks and shoes is also advisable on a slushy, muddy or snowy day. Since we are an environmental center we try to practice what we teach. With this in mind, we suggest that when you pack lunches and snacks you consider using reusable containers for food items and drinks. We expect all the children who attend Sweetbriar Nature Center to abide by our rules and to treat instructors, assistants, and each other with respect and consideration. Parents may be called if the instructors deem behavior to be unacceptable. It is our goal to give each child a positive, fun experience.

We are filling up fast. With this in mind we are asking for a non-refundable deposit of at least 50% of the total to hold your spot... If you have already sent in a deposit, disregard this. Please send final payment at least one week before the first day of the holiday discovery days so we do not have to spend time dealing with the money and can start the day promptly at 9am.
