Children experience woodland and wetland habitats as they wander along the trails of the preserve. They observe and learn about local wildlife and how the natural world works. Children will meet local reptiles, birds and mammals and the adaptations that help each to survive. Sneakers and bug spray are recommended. Children and Adults must wear face masks, all activities will be outdoors. Grades 2-4 (Ages 7-10 years) Parents don’t need to watch program but need to stay on the grounds for the program.

Great for kids being homeschooled or attending school online.

Minimum of 10 children to hold the class. You must register and pre-pay online by October 5th. If minimum isn’t reached you will receive credit toward the next Sweetbriar class or event.
