Sweetbriar’s experienced educators help open up the wonders of the natural world for children, through hands-on activities, live animals, crafts, and much more. Program is from 9:00am-3:00pm each day.

Ages: 6-11

Monday February 17th - Welcome Wildlife

Learn all about what Sweetbriar is all about as you are welcomed by our animal friends that call here home

Tuesday February 18th - Clever Creatures

Discover what makes creatures big and small unique

Wednesday February 19th - Mother Nature’s Mystery

Explore the outdoors while working together to solve Mother Nature’s mystery

Thursday February 20th - Resourceful Raptors and Reptiles

How does a bird fly? How does a turtle stay warm? Answer these and more as we investigate our feathery and scaly friends

Friday February 21st- Fantastically Frozen

What do animals do in the winter when there is ice and snow all around? Learn all about some of Sweetbriars animal ambassadors and some local animals and what they do to survive the winter.

$85/Day or $350/Week for members

$95/Day or $400/Week for Non-members

Cancellation Policy

Sweetbriar Nature Center reserves the right to cancel a Discovery Day/Week session due to insufficient enrollment. If Sweetbriar cancels a session, all fees will be fully refunded.

If you remove your child from a Discovery day/week session before it begins, membership fees are non-refundable and the refunds are as follows:

If you cancel 21+ days prior to program beginning (before January 29th, 2024) 50% of session fee will be refunded

If you cancel 20-14 days prior to program beginning (January 30th -February 5th, 2024) 25% of session fee will be refunded

If you cancel 13-0 days prior to program beginning (After February 6th, 2024) 0% of session fee will be refunded
