Photography Club Meetings
The Sweetbriar Nature Photography club meets on the 1st, 2nd and
3rd Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. Visitors are always welcome. Activities include guest speakers, entertaining slide shows, instructional
programs, photo competitions, field trips and more. Our club is
a member of the Photographic Federation of Long Island.

Butterfly House Program
Walk through our beautiful butterfly house and surround yourself with over 200 butterflies, learning the various stages of the butterfly’s lifecycle from chrysalis to adult butterfly. Children’s craft provided.
Date: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 – 1 pm starting July 9 through September 24
Ages: All welcome
Fee: $3.00/adults, $2.00/seniors/children
*Note: Butterfly House is open daily, June thru Sept (except July 4 and Sept 6), from 10am to 4pm
Weekend Program 2010
Pre-Registration Required for all Programs
Sweetbriar Nature Center presents Weekend Natural Science Programs for families throughout the year. Treat your family to a fun filled afternoon of participatory activities, crafts, and wildlife presentations.
All programs are $5/person for members and $6/person for non-member and run from 1pm to 3:30pm unless otherwise stated.

Discover the wondrous lives of nature's amazing pollinators. Go on a scavenger hunt in the butterfly house, meet a beekeeper, and visit the rain forest to learn more about the relationship between animals and flowers. Create a craft to remind you about pollinators. When: Sunday, July 11, 1-3:30pm |
