Photography Club Meetings
The Sweetbriar Nature Photography club meets on the 1st, 2nd and
3rd Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. Visitors are always welcome. Activities include guest speakers, entertaining slide shows, instructional
programs, photo competitions, field trips and more. Our club is
a member of the Photographic Federation of Long Island.

FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT SWEETBRIAR’S WILDLIFE
Come join us at Butterfields and support the good work we do at Sweetbriar. There will be food, live entertainment and ½ price drinks. All proceeds go to the rehabilitation of wildlife
When: Monday, June 24, 5-8pm
How much: $25 pp donation for buffet

Messy, Muddy, Meet-up
In celebration of International Mud Day, Sweetbriar is stirring up its own messy, muddy, meet-up. Come enjoy a messy afternoon, of mud, plus discover ooblek and slime. Come dressed for the mess.
When: Sunday, June 30, 1pm -3pm

How Much: $5 for members and scouts, $6 for non-members
Insectigations
Discover the world of bugs and creepy crawlies. Find out how important pollinators and decomposers are to our environment. visit our enclosed butterfly garden, and go on a an insect scavenger hunt. We'll also make a buggy craft.When: Sunday, July 21, 1pm to 3pm

How Much: $5 for members and scouts, $6 for non-members
The Butterfly House is open 10am to 4pm daily.
All summer long from July through September the enclosed Butterfly and Moth Garden at Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown is open to the public. Come on down and enjoy a variety of beautiful flyers. As a special treat children can become detectives and search for clues to their amazing life cycle. Children can also color in a butterfly to take home with them.
Fee: $3 for adults, $2 for children and seniors, children under three years of age are free.
Photographers are welcome. If you wish to set up a tripod or spend an hour or more please call for information on fees.
